Interesting information from Dariush Alimohammadi:
At an upcoming meeting on library blogging, he and his colleagues will have three presentations:
1. The role of weblogs in the free exchange of information: an analysis on the Iranian political weblogs using weometrics techniques
2. A look at the weblog from the point of view of library and information services
3. The role of weblog in instruction and information services
We will also have a panel for bloggers.
Dariush, we would be very interested to hear more about these.

It is so promising that new LIS generation in Iran are very active and are really proud of their profession. The number of library blogs organized by librarians (most of them in Persian) are more than every other profession.
This is really interesting. Thanks for posting this information. Blogging in the international library community sounds like a great topic for LPP.
