LPP doesn't receive get many submissions on technical services topics, although articles such as Daniel CannCasciato's work on subject headings have been some of our best.
Any ideas about how we could encourage more authors to submit articles on cataloging, metadata, serials control, authority control, database maintenance, and so on?

Mary, the Call for papers should go to all LIS forums world wide, such as IFLA, ASIST, SLA, ALA etc. More people will come to know about our themes and we will get more papers on LIS Technology. And Indexing in LISA, IA etc should have more benefit to authors.
Thanks for these ideas. I will contact the international LIS forums to solicit manuscripts on cataloging and other topics.
